Let's be honest here: If your favorite TV station continues to be "Country Music Television" then you should probably just use the "Scene Selection" option in the DVD on this Michael Ninn release. Literally each moment of the Two-Disc release taunts visual overload for the viewer with raw sexuality, a driving score, and nearly painful beauty. (By the way, if you're still watching your movies on VHS, can we ask why?) Story wise, exclusive Ninn Worx star Anais continues her celestial celebrations of human flesh, but as with many Ninn Epics, that's almost beside the point.

Honestly, sometimes we think that if we understood Michael's movies more we should begin a deeper process of self-analysis. But you can't argue with his appreciation for the beauty of the human form in physical expression; you can't question his unparalleled artistic ability to blend time, space, music, and performer in ways other adult directors can only try to emulate. We hear it's lonely at the top, but if that's the case, at least Michael Ninn tries to share with each of us.

So the time has finally rolled around for Catherine. There will be lots of things that people say all over the web, and some of them will probably even be nice. I've known Michael for over a dozen years, and I'll just say this. I've seen him get this way about a movie only a very few times over those years, and those turned out to be very good movies. If you like Michael Ninn, you'll love this movie. If you like some guy with a camcorder that costs less than he's paying to girl to have sex for him, stay away from this show.

Let's see ... There's a solo scene from Audrey Hollander, and one from Justine Joli. There's a third from Nikki Blond, and a fourth from Adriana Rouso. Then we have a fifth scene (that smokes) between Audrey and Justine. The BTS footage from Europe turned into its own "show" -- as did the BTS from Los Angeles. There are 350 pictures in the "official" gallery, and over a thousand more in the "Special Section" that Michael built a custom "Flash" environment for. Oh, that section also has the complete score from the movie in mp3 format, in case you want to take it with you, or play it during ... um ... special moments. And then of course there are the various movie trailers that always seem to pop up on these things, which other than the fact that they're Michael Ninn trailers, wouldn't be all that special. And we can't forget the long video interview with Audrey and Otto, real-life husband and wife, and the stars of this show. Those would be about the only things worth noting here ... except for the fact that ALL OF THESE THINGS are on Disc Two of the Catherine release. Disc One has the movie, and certainly you've seen the trailers by now.

Certainly Michael Ninn has not been a stranger to controversy since he began his XXX career a decade and a half ago. One might venture to say that over the years Michael has made making his own style of "mark" within the controversy one of his primary objectives. It came as a bit of a surprise to us, therefore, that Michael had up until this point never addressed the controversial subject of female ejaculation – squirting in common parlance.

Teaming up with the unofficial "King of the Squirting Movie" – Axel Braun – Michael added his own unique approach to the subject, and brought along the Ninn Worx team as well. Obviously all of this effort resulted in Wet Room, and equally obviously even those people that think they have seen a squirting movie before have never seen anything like this approach. Quite possibly Michael himself said it best while actually on the set for the shoot: "I ain't never seen anything like that." Proper grammar aside, we think that pretty much captures the essence here.

As a practical matter it more or less remains under the surface, but one of the things Michael has always been really good at over the years is surrounding himself with a steady stream of very talented young editors. If you give it any thought, it probably won't come as much of a surprise that as a rule "editors" are a rather unusual bunch. By definition fairly involved computer geeks, and comfortably choosing to spend long hours basically alone in a darkened room, this group of people takes great pleasure in what might seem to some of us to be the smallest of pleasures, often occurring in only the blink of an eye.

Still, it would seem foolish (at best) for anyone in this business to be judgmental, and so we appreciate the talents of Michael's crew just as much as we appreciate the talents of his casts. ... OK. Well that's probably not true exactly; we don't appreciate the crew that much, but you can see what we mean. So when Bobby Blue came to Michael after about a year of tutelage and said he wanted to put together his own show from the favorite Ninn Worx girl/girl scenes that he'd seen, but not worked on, Michael gave him free reign.

Bobby went back to the original camera masters and cut together the scenes as he wanted to see them, and this release resulted. Given that we know Bobby personally, we've probably learned a little bit more about him than we wanted to know (take the cover shot, for example), but those of you that don't know him can simply enjoy a female fest with some seriously good-looking women. Sometimes it's a lot of fun to work for Michael Ninn.
